Paris MoU çerçevesinde Avrupa limanlarına sefer yapan 4 Türk bayraklı gemi, eksiklikliklerden dolayı, PSC müfettişleri tarafından 12 gün tutuklu kaldı.

Şahdeniz Şirketine ait 794 GRT'luk BORA GENÇ isimli kuruyük gemisi İtalya'nın Cagliari Limanı'nda 6 gün, Transpasifik Şirketine ait 2980 GRT'luk EMRE-T isimli petrol tankeri İspanya'nın Cartegana Limanı'nda 2 gün, Akarlar Denizcilik (Mete Kardeşler) Şirketine ait 3746 GRT'luk BORAS isimli kuruyük gemisi Romanya'nın Köstence Limanı'nda 3 gün, Önal Denizcilik'e ait 2224 GRT'luk SARINAZ isimli kimyasal tanker, Rusya Federasyonu'nun Temyruk Limanı'nda 1 gün tutuklu kaldı.

2007 yılının ilk 10 ayında 515 Türk bayraklı gemi Avrupa limanlarında PSC müfettişleri tarafından kontrole alınırken, bu gemilerden 33 tanesi tutuldu. Ravanda ve Bora Genç isimli Türk bayraklı gemiler 2007 yılında ikişer kez tutularak, tutulma oranını 35'e çıkardı.
